Tristhana

This means the three places of attention or action: posture, breathing system and looking place. These three are very important for yoga practice, and cover three levels of purification: the body, nervous system and mind. They are always performed in conjunction with each other.

Dristhi is the place where you look while in the asana / posture.

All of these aspects come together in the Ashtanga yoga practice which is the main practice we teach here at Yoga Glasgow.  Allowing transformation and growth in each individuals practice and to be able to feel a unification of the self.  Bringing with it courage, strength, flexibility, clearer thought and a more peaceful and centered state of being. Bliss!
